Swiss4Afrika is an active partner helping local Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) in South Africa. We work with NPO communities and community leaders who are actively working to provide shelter, education, and access to health care. Our objective is to empower local community NPOs to become the best versions of themselves: -To increase their effectiveness and sustainability which will go a long way to break the cycles of poverty. We are all about building capabilities: - We want to help local NPO communities’ function well, to be strong and have a sustainable future – long after our project with them has come to an end. Swiss4Afrika believes that basic housing and food are necessary for every person. We further believe that education is key to lasting and sustainable change. So, when it comes to education – no one is left behind. We will support programmes for youth education as well as skills-based learning for adults. Our team collectively has skills and experience that includes: - NPO organisations, - hands-on experience in community projects in developing countries, - organisational strategy and operations, - professional fundraising our methodology to identify, evaluate and work with local NPOs is designed to ensure maximum transparency, governance and accountability to all stakeholders.
