Position Overview

This position requires some exposure & experience in public securities trading but does not require licenses.
NuView IRA is seeking a Brokerage Operations Specialist that is passionate and has the desire to be successful in this role. The Brokerage Operations Specialist requires some functional knowledge & interest in Brokerage & Cryptocurrency. The Brokerage & Operations Specialist will assist our self-directed clients under general supervision. The Brokerage Operations Specialist will utilize their intermediate-level knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or training to effectively deliver in this role supporting our client's request.
The Brokerage Operations Specialist will follow established procedures to perform routine tasks and receive guidance/ direction to perform other work with some complexity requiring limited decision-making responsibility. The Brokerage Operations Specialist will have regular contact with internal and external customers and required to obtain, clarify, or provide facts and information. NuView clients execute all trade decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and execute inbound trade requests from clients, both electronically and over the phone.
  • Communicates efficiently and accurately with clients regarding pricing, timing, and holding information on their public securities and cryptocurrency assets.
  • Review and affirm settled trading activity daily to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
  • Provides client assistance with private equity IPO's and mergers leading to the acquisition of public stock.
  • Communicates effectively with transfer agents, custodians, and other third parties to ensure transfers of assets are performed smoothly.
  • Provides support to manager/supervisor to resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Assist clients with the establishment and use of their cryptocurrency accounts.
  • Supports manager on improvements to the public securities and cryptocurrency operational processes.
  • Maintains currency in trading policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Able to answer clients' inquiries regarding common IRA practices and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Must have one year or more of data entry experience
  • Have functional knowledge of public stocks, mutual funds, public REITs., Cryptocurrencies, and securities trading
  • Proficient or must have experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • One or more years of experience in finance preferred
  • One or more years of trade support/public securities experience preferred
  • Effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with clients and associates
  • Extremely detail-orientated and organized.
  • Able to analyze and solve problems
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Background and Credit Checks will be completed
