Prezzee is looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance matters across all markets (US, UK and ANZ). Reporting to the General Counsel, the Compliance Manager will develop Prezzeeโ€™s Group compliance framework and programme of policies, testing, training, and reporting; and provide strategic compliance guidance across the business.

The Role Youโ€™ll Play

  • Delivering our Group global compliance program spanning: our board, audit and risk committee and remuneration committee.
  • Build out of the AML program.
  • Working closely with our Head of Risk and Fraud Prevention and our internal legal teams in Australia and the US, along with external regulatory advisers to deliver a joined-up global team and approach.
  • Spearhead and be person-in-charge for the groupโ€™s regulatory and compliance reporting and auditing.
  • GLobal Privacy Officer
  • Handle regulator requests and build effective communication channels with regulatory authorities.
  • Keep abreast of changing cryptocurrency regulations across jurisdictions and alert management for major changes and implications.
  • Keep abreast of relevant laws, regulations and processes about SFC licensing.
  • Establish and continuously monitor policies and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Support the company risk management framework in testing/monitoring/reporting and oversee remediation progress of compliance issues.
  • Render compliance support in managing internal audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Conduct regular company-wide training on risk & compliance matters.
  • Review contracts and documents if required.
  • Submitting all information necessary to meet statutory and regulatory requirements on time to the appropriate Committees, Boards, and external bodies.
  • An understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Collaboration with all internal departments
  • Conducting internal training
  • Overseeing Privacy and our compliance obligations on a Global scale.
  • Working with local regulators
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders and advise on compliance requirements and risks related to new product initiatives.
  • Evaluate product changes to proactively identify compliance risks.

Certain Skills are Important, Likeโ€ฆ

  • Experience in setting up compliance policies and framework.
  • JD. or other advanced degree is preferred
  • CAMS certification preferred
  • Experience directing financial crime compliance programs, with a solid grasp of the BSA and other laws and regulations applicable to financial services (particularly in payments, cards, and/or investment products).
  • Experience in conducting AML/sanctions investigations, communicating observations, findings and preliminary insights.Good understanding of UK/EU/US KYC and AML regulations.
  • Exposure to resolving complex compliance issues by conducting non-routine analysis and investigation.
  • Track record in providing effective solutions to businesses in mitigating compliance risks.
  • Sound knowledge in regulatory and compliance matters.
