Key responsibilities youโ€™ll be trusted with:
  • Provide hands-on transactional support to all aspects of the companyโ€™s business and the building and development of new business initiatives, including drafting and negotiation of agreements related to technology solutions, SAAS, payments services and financial services related applications
  • Advise on the planning, structuring and execution of deals and the analyses of risk and commercial issues, spanning across M&A, fund-raising through equity and/or debt, loans and security, formation and structuring of funds and other investments in public and private companies
  • Be a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders in connection with the execution underlying developments in products and services
  • Work with cross-functional and regional teams, across business, risk, compliance and more
  • Perform other ad-hoc corporate legal related duties in furtherance of strategic business plans
  • Liaise with external counsels and other professional advisers on assigned projects
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and building within the team
  • You will be reporting to the Corporate Counsel Team based in Hong Kong

  • Qualified lawyer
  • 2-5 years of legal experience in reputable law firm, fintech company and/or financial institution
  • Prior exposure to financial regulatory, payments, technology, or Web3.0 matters is highly advantageous
  • Understanding of developing issues and products in crypto and blockchain technology is advantageous
  • Self-motivated, able to engage with business counterparts to distill key concerns and prioritize in a fast-moving, high-performance environment
  • Possess a strong legal foundation and are a quick learner who takes new challenges head on
  • Have a well-honed ability to solve problems and inefficiencies
  • Ask questions and communicate with stakeholders in a concise yet thorough way
  • Work collaboratively with people across functions and cultures and hold yourself accountable
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin is essential
