About the job

Head of Technology

NAX Group is hiring a Head of Technology to lead technology and development efforts across NAX. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the technical build and execution of all NAX projects and products, collaborating closely with business teams, NAX Members and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for establishing overall long-term tech direction and ensuring flawless execution. You will manage a team of onshore and offshore engineers, as well as external tech vendors as needed. As such, previous experience running a tech organization is critical. A background in FinTech and Web3 is highly desirable.

This is a position on a high-achieving, experienced team. This opportunity will provide a seat at the table for key management decisions, challenging but rewarding project work and the opportunity to build not only innovative Web3 products, but also help launch new ventures in collaboration with Fortune 500 clients.

Candidates must be adept at building and managing high-functioning teams (both offshore and onshore), supervising the development of enterprise-grade, highly-scalable and secure products, innovating technical solutions based on blue-sky business opportunities and operating in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

The rewards of this opportunity are vast. This person will be coming in at the early stages of a high-growth, high-velocity technology company, innovating at the cutting-edge intersection of FinTech and DeFi. They will have the opportunity to work with world-class partners across a variety of sectors and shape company priorities and vision. An attractive bonus and equity package will be made available.

You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer to ensure that milestones are being met, communication lines between leadership and engineering are open and effective and to help the leadership understand the progress and blockers that the engineering team is facing. In parallel, you will regularly interact with project leads across the organization to receive inputs to best service their needs.

The ability to come into NAX’s Manhattan Beach, CA office on a hybrid schedule is strongly encouraged.

What you get to do
