The last 2 years have been huge for us, we have grown from 20 to 100+ team members. Whilst the products that we build are global, the majority of the team sits in Melbourne at our Australian headquarters in the heart of the CBD where we have 2 amazing offices in the same building with all the bells and whistles you could ever want including an in-house barista, pool, and table tennis tables, PS5 and Nintendo Switches, a meditation room, help yourself drinks fridge and snack wall, catered breakfast daily, weekly massages and a pub lunch.

What you will do

Provide legal support to the business and communicate with the different departments to ensure that we are compliant with the applicable regulation of each country and gambling licenses in which our business operates in.

Who we are looking for:

You are a highly skilled and organized compliance professional who has a strong understanding of the Gambling Industry. You are well versed in working with Regulators and will be able to apply your knowledge of commercial law in an environment where your opinion and suggestions are sought after and valued.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that the company operates according to the highest ethical, legal, and
  • compliance standards;
  • Providing day-to-day legal support to the other teams in the company such as
  • Marketing, Product, Finance and Tech teams;
  • Manage and reply to customer complaints;
  • Review, draft and negotiation of various contracts related to the company's business;
  • Conducting legal research and preparing memorandums or legal analyses for internal purposes;
  • Review and implementation of AML procedures across the company;
  • Providing legal advice on matters relating to intellectual property rights, data protection, general commercial and


You're perfect for this role if

  • Previous working experience in the online gambling industry in a compliance role;
  • Experience in license applications;
  • Experience with various regulatory bodies such as AGCO, IoM, NT and other Latam markets is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of gambling and commercial law;
  • Knowledge of AMLFT;
  • Knowledge of GDPR;
  • Good level of computer skills (including Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Law Degree
It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):
  • Sports & Gambling knowledge advantageous
  • Cryptocurrency knowledge would be advantageous
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Airtable & Intercom
  • Australian work rights are preferred.
