The Company

Our client, a Cryptocurrency project is looking for a Quantitative Trader (Cryptocurrency) to join their Crypto team based in Hong Kong.

What You Will Do

  • Developing and improving crypto trading algorithms
  • Analysing and improving existing strategies including ways to optimise balances, flows, and increase the overall performance of each strategy.
  • Working closely with the technology desk on improving trading and risk management tools
  • Perceive and pioneer new trading strategies through algorithms design, and implement them as an automated trading strategy to achieve overall profit.
  • Identify opportunities within the Crypto market and propose new trading strategies and work with quant and engineers to build them.
  • Ensuring that market making systems are operational 24/7 and improving the efficiency of trading strategies

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or other related disciplines
  • 2+ years of working experience; fresh graduates with a strong interest in Crypto are welcome to apply
  • Strong knowledge of probability and statistics particularly in mental arithmetic along with the ability to solve abstract problems.
  • Strong analytical skills and quantitative background
  • Excellent communication skills in English and possess a resilient attitude.
  • Strong interest in Cryptocurrency and trading are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
  • Develop and communicates Brand Market volume and profit objectives for the key markets
  • Develop and set up appropriate key performance objectives with distributor/ agent in the market on Brand Market
  • Utilizes price structure system to accurately establish and measure financial contribution with distributor/ agent, increase efficiency with pricing and identify financial opportunities
  • Build and maintain a great relationship and secure execution in the key on and off-premise national accounts based in sales territory as measured by sales drivers and key performance indicators.
  • Analyze market trends and provide solid solutions
