Job Type: Remote | Full-Time


  • 8+ years experience in a software development
  • 5+ years experience as an Engineer Manager
  • Must have progressed in roles from software engineer to web application developer to a senior software engineer to technical lead.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional and multinational teams within the engineering department.
  • Strong experience in the FinTech or Cryptocurrency industry would be advantageous
  • Experience in driving technical projects, prioritising work, identifying dependencies, facilitating technical decisions and cross-functional team discussions.
  • Ability to work independently while also putting an emphasis on mentorship of those around you.
  • You're comfortable collaborating closely with product managers, product owners, and stakeholders, providing estimates or product ideas that will influence your team's roadmap.
  • Thoughtful and polished communicatorโ€”some teams are partially or fully distributed so effective written communication is key.

  • Manage pods of engineers within portfolio
  • Take part in Project Planning and enforce established processes
  • Work directly with Team Leads to evaluate hurdles, bottlenecks, and technical decisions
  • Cooperates with technical director on setting up technical direction for his/ her pod(s) in line with company tech strategy and own the architecture and implementation of features in his/her portfolio
  • Provide guidance and assist in helping knock down walls and clear paths towards work completion.
  • Conduct performance reviews + provide career-plans for portfolio
  • Provide clear and concise communication regarding feature development statuses to the team, project leads, and stakeholders.
  • Define and adhere to internal coding standards, development processes, and design best practices.
  • Support weekly and bi-weekly KPI collection and analysis
  • Support sprint close out -measuring commitments and metrics
  • Help scope, estimate, and prioritize work.
