About the role:

Axoni’s DevSecOps team is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s corporate cloud infrastructure, focused primarily on organizational-level operating standards and information security. They additionally manage third-party and internally developed services running on these systems.

Axoni is seeking a hands-on Manager, DevSecOps The team develops and automates operational controls for our entire corporate cloud infrastructure. This includes our DevSecOps tools, commodity services, and network operations and security systems. The work relies heavily on using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices for defining secure and resilient systems and processes.

You Will:

Design solutions and oversee implementation of projects related to the following
DevSecOps tool implementations and operations at the service and infrastructure level
Operational controls and automation for corporate cloud compliance (e.g. AWS Config, SSM, CloudWatch)
Operational controls and automation for security infrastructure (e.g. IAM, PKI) using IaC and related code development
EKS platform migration of hosted services from legacy orchestration systems
Automation of third-party software onboarding and patch management

You Are:

Great at taking projects from design to completion, often exercising independent resourcefulness to resolve technical challenges
Have an aptitude for collaboration and visibility in a remote environment
Passionate about IaC, cybersecurity, and problem solving in a collaborative and modern technical environment
Excellent at prioritizing and adapting to business needs in a fast-paced environment
A proactive and deep problem solver - the ability to analyze a business or technical problem and find the most appropriate solutions

You Have:

A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
6+ years of experience in SRE or similar function and 3+ years in leadership
Worked with Terraform or similar IaC tools
A background in EKS or Kubernetes
Experience with AWS administration
A solid understanding of Unix/Linux shell scripting and administration
Knowledge of an object oriented or functional programming language (Python preferred)
Strong understanding of networking and security
