What you will do

We are looking for a talented individual who is enthusiastic and has a keen interest in Safer Gambling, Anti Money Laundering, and compliance within the gambling space. You will be responsible for the monitoring of various safer gambling processes and procedures ensuring compliance with RG laws and regulations, including various state and national legislation.

You will review/amend manuals, training, the RG Matrix, policies and existing procedures, as related to Safer Gambling and compliance in all regulated markets. The role will also focus on technology solutions, ensuring preventative and reactive case management is in place.

This opportunity would ideally suit an individual who ideally has prior experience working in a regulated environment looking to develop within a business area that is expanding, who has a solid understanding of the social responsibility requirements and who can slot in and handle sensitive situations in a confident manner. You will need to be a strong leader and role model to your team and the wider business

You will be passionate about changing behaviours and culture through learning. You will have an interest in the gambling industry and a commitment to making it safer. You will be an excellent oral and written communicator, able to express complex language in simple terms. You will be committed to protecting those at risk of problem gambling.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create, implement and manage RG policies and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant jurisdictions
  • Provide training and support in RG processes and procedures for relevant business areas
  • Monitor players through the various reporting tools and risk assessing RG flags and alerts, including changes in player activity
  • Process RG complaints and manage the interaction and resolution process
  • Proactively assess player data and activity to identify player safety, affordability triggers and RG
  • Regularly assess and refine our evaluation and monitoring programme to ensure safer gambling


You're perfect for this role if
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the igaming industry
  • Understanding the responsible gambling regulatory requirements of various jurisdictions (understanding of Ontario regulation would be a huge plus)
  • Proficiency with customer communication systems
It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):
  • Cryptocurrency knowledge would be advantageous
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Airtable & Intercom
  • Australian work rights are preferred.
