This will require diving deep into traditional finance, with the aim of introducing DeFiBox to funds, wealth managers and fintech providers and opening up the world of DeFi to them. Cake DeFi Enterprise is now on the lookout for an experienced Sales Development Representative . This SDR will work alongside the Head of Business Development with the task of identifying and generating sales opportunities via outbound prospecting and qualifying efforts across the financial services industry.

The right candidate will be one who is disciplined in their approach, as well as creative when it comes to their outbound efforts. Candidates that come from a SaaS sales background are preferred given the similar nature of pipeline progression and sales cycle.

Hands on training and guidance will be available regularly, as well as mentorship aimed at progressing you to later stage sales prowess leading to career progression within one of the fastest growing companies globally.

What you'll do

  • Sourcing new business and/or prospecting into existing pipeline via outbound efforts.
  • High sales activity with daily metrics across; emails, qualification calls and lead nurture.
  • Generating product interest via outbound cold emailing and calling to C-Level executives.
  • Partnering with account executives to identify and source new pipeline opportunities.
  • Setting of meetings between account executives and qualified opportunities.
  • Preliminary research into target accounts with personalised outreach to key personas within organisations.
  • CRM maintenance
  • Contact build-outs for target accounts using and other resources
  • Social selling; use of LinkedIn and other means to establish contact with target accounts.
  • Attendance at events and other campaigns assisting with BD efforts alongside account executives.

What you'll need

  • Experience in outbound cold-calling and email prospecting
  • Experience in qualification of leads
  • Experience with prospecting into the c-suite level of organisations
  • SaaS sales process experience as SDR, BDA, BDR
  • Conceptual understanding of DeFi, cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies
  • Consistent quota attainment at previous role
